WIN-It-Wednesday: Indigo Rabbit Cookies

Win-It-Wednesday is back after a hiatus for the Fourth of July holiday week. As mentioned in earlier posts, I hope to host the Win-It-Wednesday feature as many weeks as possible. So keep checking back each Wednesday for your chance to WIN!

This weeks WIN-It-Wednesday sponsor is Indigo Rabbit Cookies. These cookies are like garanimals for those with food allergies. Need a cookie that is gluten, lactose and soy free? No problem… check out the Indigo Rabbit allergen chart and discover that the Seriously Cinnamon Almond or Perfectly Peanut Butter cookies are the right fit for you! Need a peanut, egg and soy free cookie that will knock your socks off? Consult the Indigo Rabbit chart and you’ll find the Luscious Lemon Chewies are just your style.

Let’s face it. Reading labels when you have food allergies can be a challenge. But Indigo Rabbit makes it easy.

Every package has a straightforward and uncomplicated symbol that denotes allergen ingredients. It’s simple. Easy. Carefree. Just the way cookies are meant to be.

Another plus is that these delicious, soft and chewy cookies are… dare I say it, good for you! Made with ingredients such as yellow squash, carrots, pumpkin, spinach, sweet potatoes, and not with any additives or preservatives, and definitely no trans fats or hydrogenated oils – you can feel doubly confident bundling up a Grab n’ Go Indigo Rabbit pack in your child’s camp lunchbox or even having one (or two!) yourself! (Note: They’re so good for you, there is no sneaking involved – so have two!)

Indigo Rabbit wants to give away a FREE box of cookies (of the winners choice) to 3 (Yes – three!) LUCKY BeFreeForMe MEMBERS!

How can you win?

Easy!

Indigo Rabbits Tagline is “Secretly Healthy, Uncommonly Good”.
Reply back to this post and tell us what type of cookie you would like to win (Make sure you check out the allergen chart since not all cookies are free of gluten or other allergens!)
Also, if you would like,  let us know what you do to be secretly healthy (Me? I make sure I eat veggies at each & every meal) or uncommonly good (Me? I make it a point to smile and say a big “Good Morning” to at least one person during my morning walk).

Good Luck and, as always…
Be Free!
Kathleen

  3. Lacey Reilly Says:

    Hi!!
To be ‘secretly healthy’ I add lots of fruit to my sugar free jelly and dessert whips for pud or as a snack (seeing as there isn’t much else I can have a part form Mrs Crimbles Apple cinnamon rice cakes – though they are very tasty!). on the other hand, being Gluten Intolorent permits me to quite a healthy diet anyway, seeing as I cannot afford to buy the GF biscuits or tasty treats. 🙁

To be ‘uncommonly good’ is actually a regular part of my part-time job as a waitress. Being only 19, I am still extremely energetic and welcome all the sleepy faces with a big cheerful ‘good morning’ and the grateful offer of a cup of tea or coffee to start their day. 🙂

I love veggies and these biscuits sound yummily different from my rice cakes. I relish the idea of the ‘seriously cinnamon almond’. As you may have gathered from the fact I snack on ‘Mrs Crimbles Apple cin rice cakes’,I adore cinnamon.

    Thank you

  4. Carol Asher Says:

My daughter (a nurse) and I and my 6 year old grandson are on a GF diet. My daughter started feeding both grandsons (6 & 7) very healthy foods. Since they ate table food, they eat just about any vegetable put before them, to include spinach, broccoli, cauliflower and many more. She also tries to buy the most healthy snacks and cereals she can, so that Alex will continue to thrive. They are always anxious to try new brands and varieties. I would like very much for Alex to try your cookies. We are also very involved in our Celiac Support Group, which meets bi-monthly. (Next meeting is Monday, July 20th.) I would like to share your products with them also…this is one of the highllights of our meetings.

I would like to win the Luscious Lemon Chewies, they sound divine. What I do that is secretly healthy is lift weights. Uncommonly good? Well, I’m the nice person that’ll let you out in traffic when driving. 🙂

  6. Larc Bogdan Says:

I would love any of the gluten-free flavors (cin. almond sounds yum!). I do a lot to stay secretly healthy, my husband and I like to eat mostly veggie-based dinners, and we try to walk or do some sort of exercise daily. With a 4 year-old gluten-intolerant daughter, finding healthy things that she will eat is a big issue, though! We push the veggies, but most days fruit is her main health food. Thank goodness she likes carrots!

  7. Elizabeth Says:

I would like to try the Perfectly Peanut Butter cookies! To be secretly healthy, I add extra exercise in to my work day; I walk to the bathroom that is the furthest from my office.

  8. kristina Herrick Says:

I often puree veggies and blend them into her favorite recipes (cauliflower and butternut squash in mac ‘n cheese, red peppers and beets in lasagna…). We also try to hit our local farmers’ market as often as possible – those fresh fruits and veggies are just so much yummier than the regular grocery variety.

Here is my entry for the contest. I hope I am placing it in the right place.

    ———————————————————————————————————————-
    Dear Gluten,

I loved you in all your guises. So clever the ways of my seduction: lavish dinners out, intimate fare over candlelight & music. I never realized that our relationship was poison. Oh, how I suffered. Not knowing you were the cause of my pain.

Slowly, my eyes opened. I didn’t want to believe. I went through the stages of loss – denial, fear, and grief. Then a beautiful thing happened. I began to taste what life was like without the poison, without the pain.

I will warn others about you. Never again will I allow you into my life. I don’t miss you anymore. Life is sweeter now…without you.

    Wendy
