WIN-It-Wednesday: New York Style Risotto Chips
Want some gluten-free chips that will be gone in a New York minute? Then try New York Style Risotto Chips!
If you’re on a gluten-free diet, or just looking for a good healthy chip alternative, these delicious chips are worth checking out!
What I like the most about the New York Style Risotto Chips is that they’re great for dipping into gluten-free dips, or enjoyed all by themselves. Made of Arborio rice (the same rice that Risotto is made with) these chips are packed with 11 grams of whole grains – plus they taste delicious.
And all of us over here at BeFreeForMe aren’t the only ones chatting up this new chip: New York Style Risotto Chips are also featured in the January/February 2011 Food Network Magazine , on The Rachael Ray Show, and also on the Lifetime Network’s The Balancing Act as a “delicious gluten-free snack”. But see for yourself what all the buzz is about… Pick-up a bag of New York Style Risotto Chips and you’ll eat ’em like they’re going out of style!
New York Style Risotto Chips comes in three varieties: Parmesan & Roasted Garlic, Sea Salt, and my personal favorite Spicy Marinara.
And lucky for all of us, New York Style Risotto Chips are BeFreeForMe’s WIN-It-Wednesday sponsor for the next two weeks! Six lucky winners (3 winners each week) will win a jam-packed gift full of a variety of New York Style Risotto Chips. Enough for you – and enough to share!

I used to love to wear overalls 🙂 *Thanks* for the giveaway!

My most memorable fashion was a “tent” dress I had back in 8th grade. It was orange and yellow paisley and I loved it! It was memorable because I went to Catholic grade school and we were allowed to wear a dress on Fridays – as long as when your hands were down the tips touched the hem line. I was 5’8″ in eighth grade with very long legs so nothing ever went long enough. I really wanted to wear it to school so when the principal walked by all my friends tried to hide me – to no avail. I was sent home to change and had to walk 2 miles back and forth. All for a dress (:.

I love the 80’s look. I have memories of french rolled jeans, leg warmers, BIG bangs, and florescent colors.
February 23rd, 2011 at 8:06 am
I loved bell bottom pants and flower power prints
February 23rd, 2011 at 9:21 am
My most memorable style was Farah Fawcett hair in the 70’s. I was a big girl with Farah Fawcett hair and had a sailor hit on me in the Atlanta airport when I was 13 years old. Boy did he scedaddle when I told him my age which was about the same time my mom walked over.

I’d love to try the spicy marinara! Does anyone remember go go boots? I had a white pair in grade school and boy, I thought I was styling!!
February 23rd, 2011 at 9:53 am
The Spicy Marinara sounds yummy to me! I loved the 80’s and my favorite article of clothing was a purple and white striped Forenza shirt from The Limited. It was shorter in the front and longer in the back, perfect for wearing with stirrup pants!!!
February 23rd, 2011 at 11:08 am
The parmesan and roasted garlic chips sound great. I remember leggings and long shirts, I guess I’m old enough that that has come around again!
February 23rd, 2011 at 11:13 am
Sea salt would go with everything. 80s and neon!
February 23rd, 2011 at 11:39 am
The sea salt flavor sounds great to me. I remember wearing “banana clips” in my hair in the 80’s. That era spawned some interesting styles!
February 23rd, 2011 at 11:39 am
will try first the sea salt to get the real taste of the chip, but definitely will go for the marinara sounds good to me.
February 23rd, 2011 at 12:01 pm
My Mom would put me in polyester pants, brown and navy, and I HATED them…that material just wouldn’t ‘die’, so I remember once geting holes in the knees (on purpose), and my innovative mother…MADE SHORTS!! LOL
February 23rd, 2011 at 12:39 pm
Parmesan and Roasted Garlic sounds wonderful. My favorite style I remember was in the early 1970s–a pair of double-knit burnt orange hip hugger bell bottom pants that I wore with a brown sweater. Wish I still had them for Halloween.
February 23rd, 2011 at 5:51 pm
Parmesan & Roasted Garlic…. YUM! Sounds delicious, can’t wait to try these!
February 23rd, 2011 at 6:39 pm
Spicy marinara sounds good to me. The horrible style I remember was when my mom had my past-the-waist length hair cut into that awful shag haircut when I was 6! I hated it and cried for so long. 🙁
February 23rd, 2011 at 9:52 pm
parmesan and garlic. I remember having to wear some ugly plaid skirts that my mother’s cousins had given us.
February 23rd, 2011 at 10:14 pm
Oh Sea Salt all the way! My fav fashion? Gotta be my pair of James Jeans when I was in Jr High. Cool jeans and they looked good too. 🙂
February 24th, 2011 at 12:50 am

I would love to try them all-Does the sea salt have any vinegar in it ? Anything with any kind of cheese-love them ! My favorite fashion had to be my Bell Bottom pants-had several pairs.
February 24th, 2011 at 7:06 am
The sea salt sounds the best to me – then you can have the with salsa and guacamole.
My favorite fashion was my disco days – I really took myself way too seriously – but I had some really hot dresses and shoes – my fav were these plaid platform heals – too much fun!!
Thanks for you opportunity to win wonderful prizes.

The sea salt sound the best – my favorite fashion capri pants with sandals and a three quarter sleeve t-shirt.
February 24th, 2011 at 12:10 pm
I would like to try the sea salt, and my most memorable style???? the elf boots from the 80’s
February 24th, 2011 at 12:16 pm
The parmesan garlic is my favorite. And my favorite fashion was the homemade outfits from 2yrs old to 7yrs old that matched pant to shirt pattern. They also matched siblings so you could tell we were family. Fun looking back at those pictures.
February 25th, 2011 at 9:30 am
My most memorable style was the stirrup leggings and jelly shoes I wore in early elementary school. Hello, nineties!
February 25th, 2011 at 9:55 am
Sea Salt sound wonderful to me. My favorite fashion trend was my hot pants & white go-go boots. I thought i was so cool at 7yrs old!
February 25th, 2011 at 1:55 pm
Parmesan & Roasted Garlic sounds super yummy! My most memorable style was two different color converse sneakers, two different socks, and a purse with “caution” crime scene tape attached to the strap. Only Middle School hormones can produce something like that. :]
February 25th, 2011 at 8:02 pm
Spicy Marinara sounds good to me, and any thing polyester.
February 26th, 2011 at 1:39 pm
I would love to try the spicy marina chips, they sound so good. As for a memorable fashion, the jelly shoes.
February 28th, 2011 at 6:02 am
Parmesan & Roasted Garlic
omg i remember wearing my dads dress shirts with a belt and leg warmers lol
February 28th, 2011 at 9:51 am
The parmesan & garlic sounds great. My most memorable style was my purple phase: purple Nike sneakers when they just came out, purple argyle knee socks pulled all the way up and purple corduroy knickers, with a purple sweater with that swiss design around the top. Oh, can’t forget the barrettes with purple & lavender ribbons braided up the metal part and ribbons hanging down with beads on the ends. :^)
February 28th, 2011 at 11:48 am
They all sound delicious, but I’d love to try the Sea Salt! I supposed my most memorable/favorite style was my white button fly navy inspired bell-bottoms. LOL
February 28th, 2011 at 5:18 pm
I think sea salt and parmesan & roasted garlic sound wonderful. I really enjoyed the off the shoulder blouse and the angled hip belts.
March 1st, 2011 at 8:15 pm
Sea Salt sounds great. I loved the days of bell-bottoms and 4 inch heels.
March 2nd, 2011 at 7:49 am
I finally found these chips in the store and the sea salt flavor is amazing! This is a hair fashion. In 8th grade I had my hair cut like Twiggy. So trendy back in the day (:.

Last entry was a memorable fashios style, this time I’ll choose my favourite flavour – PARMESAN AND ROASTED GARLIC!! SOUNDS HEAVENLY!!
March 2nd, 2011 at 3:49 pm
I’d love to try the sea salt style. Can’t say it was good or anything, but how can you forget the “flashdance style”.. legwarmers, off-the-sholder sweaters and leggings. OMG.. did I just date myself or what!
March 2nd, 2011 at 4:03 pm
Spicy marinara might go well with hummus. We eat a lot of hummus these days. Neon was fun, but there were these natural tan wedge sandals which criss-crossed in the front and strapped around the ankle. Don’t think they had a name – they were surprisingly comfortable.
March 2nd, 2011 at 4:48 pm
Sea salt and spicy marinara sound really good! And, I was a dance competition kid when I was little so my style was hot shorts and sports bras! lol, and knee socks with my hot shorts
March 2nd, 2011 at 8:59 pm
The Sea Salt flavour sounds the best to me! And the style I enjoyed was the tight rolled jeans with slouch socks.
March 3rd, 2011 at 12:11 am
Parmesan and Roasted Garlic sounds delicious! My favorite look was when I was in elementary school and dressed like Punky Brewster. Pig tails. Various unmatching colors. Punky Power!
March 3rd, 2011 at 2:48 am
Again, favorite flavor is the parm garlic for the chip but also love the sea salt. Another favorite style of mine are the five finger vibram shoes. The faces I get from everyone who sees them is too funny and they are so comfy.
March 3rd, 2011 at 9:17 am
They all sound great, but I’d love to try the spicy marinara. My most memorable style would have to be my embroidered bell-bottom jeans.
March 3rd, 2011 at 11:45 am
Those parmesan and garlic chips sounds excellent. My favorite style is oxford, button down shirts which I have worn for 5o years!!!!!!!!!!!! never out of style.
March 3rd, 2011 at 12:05 pm
My favorite style was in the late 70’s, I believe. In the winter we wore long plaid skirts, cut on the bias, body fiting at the waist and gently flairing out at the bottom. My favorite was a red plaid skirt. This style was attractive, warm, and feminine all wrapped up into one.
March 3rd, 2011 at 4:50 pm
I love these chips! My favorite is Parmesan & Garlic dipped in roasted pepper hummas. Great game day snack for the whole gang!
March 3rd, 2011 at 8:57 pm
Big Hair. Really really big hair.
March 4th, 2011 at 10:43 am
Thanks for a second chance to win these stylin chips! One style that was really crazy was my uniform for high school orchestra. It was the 90’s but these had been made in the 70’s so it was a maroon polyester short jacket with a satin collar paired with a floor length polyester jumper. At least 100 other people were also wearing it for our performances.
March 4th, 2011 at 11:45 am
The sea salt chips sound the best to me, since I would like to dip them. I remember a style back in elementary school that I used to love to wear and it was bodysuits. I wore them with everything and loved the comfort.
March 4th, 2011 at 12:20 pm
All flavors sound good b/c what’s not delicious about Risotto?
My most memorable fashion style was wearing endless layers – as a small child and again in college. Who ever thought the bulk up look would be flattering? Glad that’s over.
March 5th, 2011 at 8:58 pm
Who doesn’t love a good chip ? All the flavors sound really tasty-I would love to try them ! Hope I win !
My fashion style was eclectic-every thing from Bell Bottoms to Short Shorts, blouses that tied under my breasts! I was somewhat of a Tomboy and liked to wear jeans and big T-Shirts.
March 7th, 2011 at 1:02 am
My favorite style is to wear anything comfortable.
March 7th, 2011 at 5:32 am

March 7th, 2011 at 11:20 am
I am on the gluten-free diet and am always looking for snack alternatives to eat. I recently discovered that Frito-Lay has many gluten-free snack alternatives but was happy to come across your site to open my eyes to more. Thanks for introducing me to New York Style Risotto Chips, as well as the chance to win them! The “style” (or flavor) of the New York Style Risotto Chips that sounds best to me is the parmesan & roasted garlic, mmm! As far as my most memorable style of fashion, I have always been a fan of the infamous bell-bottom jeans. Luckily, Marsha Brady’s fashion go-to are coming back in style this Spring! I love snacks that offer the chance to use a dip so these chips sound great. Thanks again!
March 7th, 2011 at 2:34 pm

March 8th, 2011 at 6:27 am
Sea Salt sounds good. I loved wearing Gunny Sack or Laura Ashley dresses. I liked the puffed sleeves.
March 8th, 2011 at 12:14 pm
Risotto is awesome! Chips are great! Put them together and you’ve really got something to celebrate, perhaps an old fashion favorite like 70s jogging shorts.
March 8th, 2011 at 1:19 pm
I have tried the Risotto spicy marinara and really enjoyed this chip!! Great flavor. I hope I can win some!!
