Candied Pecans
Quick and easy… three ingredients!
I egg white
¾ cup of sugar
1 teaspoon cinnamon
¾ cup of chopped or halved pecans - depending on if you are using as a crispy topping (use the chopped) or as a appetizer (use the halves)
Place the egg white is a large bowl. Whisk until slightly foamy. Next add the sugar, cinammon and the pecans. Mix well until the pecans are well coated.
Place the covered pecans on a baking sheet and cook for about 15 minutes or until all the pecans are crispy. Shake pan and turn with a spatula periodically while cooking.
Note: Keep an eye on the nuts while cooking since they can burn quickly!
