Slow-Cooker Chipotle Chicken Wings
An easy and quick appetizer – made in the slow cooker. Add more chipotle hot sauce to kick up the heat!
8 whole chicken wings
¼ cup of water
¼ cup course grain mustard (Check label for allergens)
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon garlic powder
2 teaspoons chipotle hot sauce (even more if you want to kick-up the heat!)
1 tablespoon ketchup (Check label for allergens)
1 tablespoon chili sauce (Check label for allergens)
½ teaspoon apple cider vinegar
Wash and pat dry the chicken wings, break at the joints, and discard wing tips. Place in the bottom of a slow cooker, and pour the water over.
Next in a medium bowl, combine the rest of the ingredients. Stir until well blended. Pour over the chicken and toss to coat.
Cook on high for 2 ½ hours. Serve immediately, or place on simmer for buffet style.
Serves 4.
