Feta Cheese Dip
A perfect dip for an impromptu get-together. Goes perfect with fresh cut veggies.
1 8-ounce container plain yogurt - non-fat or regular (Check label for allergens)
4-6 ounces feta cheese, crumbled
1 carton (8 ounces) plain yogurt (non-fat or regular)
¼ cup, fresh parsley – chopped fine; plus 1 tablespoon for garnish
1 tablespoon dried dill weed or 2 tablespoon chopped fresh dill
3 clove garlic, minced fine
Pinch (or more depending on taste!) of cayenne pepper
1 lemon
In a medium bowl, combine yogurt and the feta cheese; mix well. Next add the parsley, dill, garlic, cayenne pepper and the juice of the lemon. Sprinkle the remaining tablespoon of chopped parsley on the top.
Cover tightly and refrigerate for at least 1-2 hours before serving.
Serve with vegetables or gluten-free chips for dipping.
Makes about 2 cups
