Smoky Bacon, Baby Lettuce and Tomato Sauce Crostini
A crostini that’s a BLT… A one-bite sandwich! The Smoky Bacon, Baby Lettuce and Tomato Sauce Crostini is in the top row middle in the photo above.
1/2 loaf of Gluten-Free Baguette, sliced into 1/4” to ½” slices at a 45 degree angle (about 8 slices) - Check lable for allergens
2 tablespoons olive oil
2-3 tablespoons tomato sauce (Check label for allergens)
6-8 baby lettuce leaves
3 slices smoked bacon, cook and crumbled
Brush the baguette slices with the olive oil. Broil until a golden yellow.
Evenly spoon the tomato sauce on each toast. Top each with a baby lettuce leaf. Top with crumbled bacon bits.
Yields 6-8 crostinis.
