Toasted Sesame Green Beans and Asparagus



Dairy Free Nut Free Fish Free Soy Free Gluten Free 

This makes a great side dish to any Asian meal whether it’s chicken pork or steak! Serve also with some rice or Asian noodles for the final touch.

¼ pound green beans cut in half, or about 2" long

¼ pound asparagus, cut in about 2" lengths

1 teaspoon sesame oil

2 tablespoons honey

1 tablespoon rice vinegar

2 tablespoons gluten-free chicken stock (Check label for allergens)

1 tablespoon sesame seeds, toasted

 

In a medium skillet or wok, heat sesame oil. Sauté the green beans and asparagus until slightly browned, about 3-4 minutes. Add vinegar, honey, and chicken stock and simmer until tender. Toss with toasted sesame seeds and serve.

 

Serves 6
